Isn't SC/PA/IT/ST/EN/DU all 100% stat based? Should only SP/SK/DF/PC be re-rateable and PC questionably as many have ways of calculating that too in their ratings.

PA can be re-rated depending on the formula. I am incorporating 2 formulas into one for this league for re-rate purposes.
IT, ST, EN, DU, EX, LD all can't be changed b/c that is based on the player

Jarome Iginla: 66 IT 69 ST 81 SC 63 DF 77 LD
Intensity: The guy is a beast, I don't see how this isn't above 80, let alone 66. I really can't prove this through stats, but everyone know Jerome Iginla is all over.
Strength: Jarome Iginla? 69? What? Eric Staal: 75, Jason Spezza 77, Jordan Staal 81, Rick Nash 79.
Scoring: 81 scoring is pretty low for a top 5 goal scorer in the NHL, he didn't have as many goals last year, but still pumped out enough to have over 81 being the player that he is.
Defense: He's not a GREAT defender, but 63 is pretty darn low. He's one year from being a +27.
Leadership: 77, He's at LEAST an 80, I would put it around 85.
Henrik Zetterberg:
For a guy like this I want to start off by saying, he is a BEAST come playoff time. Last years playoffs he was IMO the best player in the playoffs. This guy shut down top opposing lines while leading his team in points.
LD: It does not make sense that he has a worse Leadership rating than Pavel Datsyuk. He is the successor to Nik Lidstrom and everyone knows he is the heart and soul of the Red Wings, should be at around 80.
EX: 48, kinda low for a guy who experienced a Conn Smyth and a Stanley Cup.
DF: 72? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Mike Richards has an 85, that sounds about right for a guy one year taken from a Selke Nomination and taking Sidney Crosby's Conn Smyth away. this year.
79 goal scoring, 78 passing: Check the playoffs, this is off of season totals, but the guy definitely saved it for the playoffs being on a stacked team like Detroit.
Rod Brind'Amour:
72 DF: He won back to back Selkes and was a runner up the following year. His plus minus was bad to start the season because he was still rehabing injury but he came along back to his old form and he is guy who is still worthy of an 80+ rating.

Dan Hamhuis
SP/SK both should be mid 70's + both low right now. Quotes from various times: "Part of the reason he was able to excel on the large ice surface in Russia is his tremendous skating stride."
"He is a great skater who really moves the puck well," said one NHL scout. "He thinks the game so well and combined with his skating that makes for an attractive package."
The Central Scouting Report from the NHL rates Hamhuis as "a very good, well-balanced skater with good agility and excellent speed."
All over his speed and skating is something that seems heralded.

Jason Spezza: Comparasion to Jason Arnott
Jason Spezza: 77 PA & 78 SC Jason Arnott: 81 PA & 88 SC

Jason Spezza: Comparasion to Jason Arnott Jason Spezza: 77 PA & 78 SC Jason Arnott: 81 PA & 88 SC NHL STATS: Jason Spezza: 32 goals, 41 assists for 73 points Jason Arnott: 33 goals, 24 assists for 57 points Really? Arnott only played 65 games so pro-rated: 42 goals, 30 assists for 72 pts. My rerates are Erik Cole, Vaclav Prospal NHL STATS: Erik Cole - 18 goals, 24 assists for 42 points Vaclav Prospal - 19 goals, 26 assists for 45 points Alex Tanguay - 16 goals, 25 assists for 41 points Erik Cole ratings - 64 PA & 64 SC Vaclav Prospal ratings - 65 PA & 65 SC Alex Tanguay ratings - 75 PA & 72 SC Same situation, this is a joke that people are just trying to cheat the system. Tanguy had 41 pts in 50 games good for a pro-rated is 67 pts much better than 42/45 and 26 goals hence the reason for the better ratings.

Jason Spezza: Comparasion to Jason Arnott Jason Spezza: 77 PA & 78 SC Jason Arnott: 81 PA & 88 SC NHL STATS: Jason Spezza: 32 goals, 41 assists for 73 points Jason Arnott: 33 goals, 24 assists for 57 points Really? Arnott only played 65 games so pro-rated: 42 goals, 30 assists for 72 pts. Okay, well Spezza still has more assists in the end, shouldn't he have better PA but Arnott should have better SC?

Now Kessel and Cammalleri's SC dropped to the 70's ?
70's SC for 30 goal scorers?
it was a combined formula. things need to be corrected still.
30+ scorers will be high 70's to mid-80's
things will be fixed
patience my friend, patience

is there a re-rate deadline date? due to my limited internet access, i have not had much time for this lately, but i will get around to it since i do have some arguments to make! id like them in by the end of the week. id like to open up the FA period before august, since it can take a while to sort through FA signings, and i want to run a pre-season. so the end of this week would be great
