Well, for 2 days, things were pretty stable and significant with the "bigger names" here in the SINHL.
However, today, we have taken a turn in the whirlwind of offers to some of the bigger UFA's available on the market.
Alex Tanguay: Rumors are running wild that a team has come into the race unexpectedly, and has prepared an offer for Tanguay that will NOT be beat!
Alex Kovalev: It's coming down to two or three teams it seems here. It's up to Alex now to decide over money, years, or wanting to win it seems.
Scott Niedermayer was spotted having dinner in Edmonton with Geno Malkin and Martin Bordeur.
Alex Burrows is wondering if he is in a dream, or if this is reality. It's a toss up, and Alex still has a lot to figure out. From what I am told, there are "10 SIMILAR" deals for Alex at this point in time.
Robyn Regehr seems like he'll have to decide on playing in Canada or playing in the United States. It's a three team race, with two leading the pack very close.
Youngster Jonathan Ericsson wants to play in a big city, with a lot of history. His offers are there, it just depends on where he will fit in best. Rumor has it that Ericsson will be visiting all the cities of all the teams that has offered him contracts before he makes a final decision.
Steve Ott is willing to play for an up and coming team to help teach the kids. He has a few offers he is mulling over, and might sign soon I am told.
Mike Knuble is wondering if his age is having him looked over by a few teams he was hoping would send offers his way. Shocked that there are so very few teams interested.
Francois Beauchemin rumors are that his salary demands have been met, but he's not sure if it's from the proper team. He is still weighing his options, but wants to sign soon and become a teammate!
Saku Koivu is possible to be reunited with long time friend and country teammate. It's the closest he's been to signing so far this off-season, and is almost ready to sign on the dotted line.
Cristobal Huet is feeling the pressure! Rumors are that not enough teams are interested and he might head to the KHL where he can get a decent amount of money and "feel less pressure to win!"
