Long Island, New York II
By Seymour Butts
Well the Dan Ramage era has begun in Long Island, and that has quickly followed with 2 trades. The first trade was a big one sending Captain Zdeno Chara and Doug Weight to Chicago in exchange for Duncan Keith, Todd White, Ondrej Pavelec and a late round draft pick. This move makes the Islanders defence younger and gave them 2 other solid pieces. The 2nd trade was a swap of some youngsters as Josh Bailey, Sean Bergenhiem and Frans Nielsen are heading to San Jose in exchange for Kyle Turris, Steve Bernier and Enver Lisin.
So far this is the ins and outs
IN Turris Keith Bernier Lisin White 7th Pavelec
OUT Bailey Chara Nielsen Bergenhiem Weight
So far so good but only time will tell From Long Island im Seymour Butts
