Dallas, Texas - The cowboys are out tonight to see the Dallas Stars return to the ice to take on the improved Toronto Maple Leafs. It was confirmed today that rookies James Sheppard and Tyler Kennedy cracked the Stars opening day roster. "We're very pleased with the way our young guns stepped up during the preseason. Both players had a bit of a challenge putting together points but proved they could handle the defensive aspects of the game and compete in the Sinhl," General Manager McKinlee Duggan stated. When asked Leafs GM Avi Gopichand had this to say "Hopefully my team can bounce back from that 8- 6 lost to Philly the other day, but it wont be easy playing Dallas." Both teams are more than prepared to make a run and challenge elite teams in the playoffs. Dallas will keep defender Kris Russell on the roster as a scratch, look for him to get first crack at the lineup if a defender goes down. The big game goes down at 7:00 pm EST tonight tune in!
