Dallas, Texas - A mixup has occured Sunday afternoon as Dallas Stars GM announced two huge moves. At approximately 4:00pm the Stars revealed to the media that Guy Carbonneau had been given the boot. After a somewhat disappointing 3-3-1 start this was a move that had to be made for the Stars. New coach pat Quinn could not be reached for a statement. At 4:30pm after negotiations with Jonathan the Buffalo Sabres Manager the Stars announced a blockbuster deal involving a first line left winger coming to Dallas and a franchise defencemen heading east. "We're glad to make the trade and happy with our overall team. We feel we have a talented defence corps without Bouwmeester." Patirck O'Sullivan goes with Jay to Buffalo and Tom Gilbert and touted prospect Thomas Hickey comes to Dallas. The new stars lineup looks like this. Frolov - M. Koivu - Doan Erat - O.
